Open flame

This piece was a great exploration piece as I used it to learn how light effects painting and how to create the illusion of light in a piece, the light doesn't look perfect however I think the piece is believable and the techniques I learnt were how to make light in a piece, how to blend feathers and how harsh shadows can be.
